Well Friends, ladies and gentleman, boys and girls. Here is "most" of my song ideas that I have recorded over the past few years. Few of these are complete songs. Most are idea's for songs that I recorded when the idea hit me, and recorded just so I could remember it later. Even then, I'd probably forget I recorded it. Over the years, I've used different amps, guitars, recording software, computers etc. So they all have a different sound and you can probably hear the evolution of the recording quality if you try even a little. Unfortunately, when I converted some to mp3, I didn't think to make them a high quality mp3, either because I didn't know better, or I had to keep the file size small for dial-up uploading. With most of the songs, since I was just recording idea's, I didn't spend alot of time really trying to play my best. But, with that said, you'll get a good idea of where I wanted the song to go musically. Some appear twice, they are different versions of the same song, either different intirely, or different guitar, amp, recording technique etc.

Well, I hope you enjoy listening to them. I know there's alot of em. My favorites are at the top! The song names really are mostly meaningless. :) It's no easy task naming an instrumental song.

Evergreen This song was originaly written and played with Shane Regal. It had alot of harmony guitar solo stuff, very cool.

Dorm Room This tune, well, I don't know exactly how I came up with this. I think it started as just playing with guitar tones/amp settings. Before I knew it, this was the result. And it is by far one of my favorite tunes.

Maroon Ballad This song was inspired by a Maroon 5 song I heard driving home one day.

Flowing Happiness Shane Regal taught me how to play an arppegio one day, I had to use it, this song was the result.

JemCom I used to visite a guitar forum, jemsite.com. I thought it would be fun to make a commercial for it, this song was on the video. Here is the video I made Jemsite commercial

What Happened Ah, what happened here? I had a specific direction I wanted to go with this. And this....is pretty much it! I love it!

New Twang I used to play in a country band. The singer had these tracks recorded in Nashville, I took one and put my twist on it.

New Beginning Woah, this song, I wrote YEARS ago. Again, Shane and I used to double alot of this. One of my favs still.

Playing with the Boss ver 1 Shane Regal had a Boss drum machine, I borrowed it, and it had this track on it. I added all the guitars over it and came up with this.

Fire that drummer (me) My playing the drums. Not very well mind you, but the song it kinda catchy.

Drop Out This is another song Shane and I used to play in an instrumental band. Even had Jeff Abercrombie from Fuel playing with us back then.

Dropped D Jam Just looking for an idea to record. I like where this was headed, but never brought it back out to work on it.

evergreen jam (short ver) Trying to change the Evergreen tuen a bit...

From Somewhere Very early multi tracking effort.

FSS&Tele This was a "tone test" recording of a Fender Super Sonic amp and Fender Tele guitar.

G&L Jam A reason to play a bunch of fast stuff.

This is an acousting version I can only Imagine

This is an acousting version Mighty is our God

Jam with Drummer A guy, Chris Paul played this little jam on the drums, I couldn't let it go at that. Had to throw guitar on it!

JSC One of my all time favorites right here. Same song as my "G&L Jam" video on Youtube.

JSX Jam Another "test tone" recording. Was checking tones form the Peavey JSX. I really like this. Disclaimer: The main progression is Shane Regal's, I've gotten ALOT of milage out of it too.

Just one chord E (really, this song has one chord) Satriani used to have songs that would drone on a single chord whole he played all kinds of cool stuff over it. My attempt at doing the same.

Layered Joe Satriani used to do a bit of layering guitars when recording. I thought I'd try it.

Long Gone It's called Long Gone, because it's 4 minutes looong of me jamming over piano. It wasn't meant to be a song, just a search for ideas. There's a few usable idea in there. My favorite is from 2:20/2:35

Gettysburg It's a bit rough around the edges, but still on of my favorites. I ought to finish this one.

Miles To Go A song I spent a little time on. Some harmony solo stuff.

Not really sure "Wasn't really sure" what to do with this, this is as far is it ever went.

Older version on Tele Twang 1st draft of jamming over the country track.

Playing with the Boss ver 2 (see above :o)

Rug Dog This song idea was used by the country guy, though changes quite a bit for his use. No real soloing, just song idea.

Theres a piano in there Another one of my favorites. I don't know why, but there's 1:15 minutes of nothing/silence on the end of this 1 minutes song.

Tonnage New song in the works. It's going to be "epic"...if it ever gets done.

1st multi track Another EARLY multi track recording. My 1st actually.

Friends Newer song in the works. Here's 2 versions. This will be on the CD.

Friends 1

3 Piece This song is me playing the drums again. But just as the song gets taking off, it gets cut off. No idea why, no back up of it either. :(

7 String I used to have a 7 string guitar. 7 Stings have a nice heavy tone. This is that guitar along with a Strat on solo, for contrast. Double kick drum stuff in here too.

A New You Nuther song idea, no solo. Sometimes this is all I get. Maybe someone can write vocal for it! :) It almost rocks pretty hard.

Coolrail jam I have a guitar with a CoolRail pickup. I've bought lots of guitars over the years, but my favorite songs I've ever recorded tend to be on that guitar. It's the black and white crackle finish one. This song isn't super well written, but it's got's some cool usable parts I'd like to pull out some day. And fire myself on the drums!

Altimeter My very latest "jam". I find myself labeled into the "shred" category at times. I'm pretty sure I don't fit the shred mold all to well. I find most music called shred to be a bunch of noodly nonsense. Heck, I can play noodly nonsense too I said to myself. Well here it is. It's really not much more than way to many notes played over a drop C riff and "polka" drums. :) Heck, it's not even music! But it was fun to play and record! And I do like the tones.

Gideon's Army

Back in the early 90's in California, I used to play in a band called Gideons Army. Here's a few tracks from our CD. We had the 80's sound! Funny thing is, it was the 90's. Well, early 90's, so it's ok. We were strickly a "prison ministry" band. Our music seemed to be pretty well recieved. And it was certainly a tool to get us into the correctionial facilities, and then getting the Gospel to the inmates.

Mark Greeves - bass, lead vocals
Jerry Anderson - drums, lead vocals (gone to be with the Lord)
Doug Naruo - Keyboards, vocals
Darin Warren - guitar

Additional Engineering & Production Credits: Wally Buck and Ron Davis, Fantasy Studio in Berkley

Lonely Lover (Jeff Watson, Night Ranger guitarist, tapped alot of solo's, I did my best to emulate him on this intro)

Christina (I think this has a bit of Journey flavor to it)

Make up you mind (probably our most Night Ranger sounding song 'musically'. Brad Gillis of Night Ranger was, and in many ways still is my favorite guitarist. You'll hear quite a bit of GIllis influence on this solo)

Open Arms

These songs were recorded on the "Black and white guitar" I play quite a bit, still. And through a Mesa Mark3 amp.
